Scope and compatibility
GPU compute is outside CARMIX’s direct scope. Host-level results need a separate assessment before drawing facility-level conclusions.
Where would an evaluation begin?
With your workload, processor, Linux distribution, kernel and runtime. Confirm compatibility with AdamLabs before agreeing on a test.
What would we review before deployment?
Installation, required privileges, telemetry, network access, monitoring and return-to-baseline procedures. These details should be agreed for the proposed environment.
What does a useful result include?
Energy per completed workload, performance, valid output and resource overhead, measured under comparable conditions.
Would an energy improvement mean more capacity?
Not automatically. Cooling, rack space, networking and the power profile also constrain capacity.
